She tells a questioning about the paper trail, how to define the writing, what it is, the relationship to memory, other ... This performance is a series of questions and answers early, around a dialogue that I wrote myself.

performance created for the presentation of my DNAP in 2006, I also presented the festival's Breath Equinox at Poitiers in March 2006, and Confluence in Paris in November 2007.


Synopsis:
Through inner dialogue, I ask myself questions about what writing is, what and how we need it.
An event upsets me: the death of a loved one. I wonder what is the role of writing from memory. To what, for whom do we need to write?
Gradually, the answers take shape and get in shape ...

Writing, because it has something to say. Because we have something to put on its own. Because it means something to someone. Or not. Write for himself. Add your own to get to. Write for pleasure. Write because they can not communicate otherwise. Write simply. Let the words visible. A word, a sentence. A thread of thought.

write is weaving. Playing with the son. Organize, arrange, or make balls of nodes. Read

is take these packets of nodes, and disentangle the son. Watch it frame the son, the plot of the text of the fabric of the word. Reading is seeking the son, the phrases, words, and that seek to track, understand. Otherwise, it is not read is just watching.

I think if I started using the written word, because I did not know about. I no longer go to the other, and yet I wanted to say something, too, even though today I can not remember what ... So I looked for another way to express myself. Write, perhaps. But writing only, is it enough ? Add an image? A write-image? A bit like the Japanese, perhaps. So I learned Japanese. In the ideogram of the tree, in Japanese, we can recognize a tree. And one man's word is like a man. Very good.

But ultimately, nobody understands the Japanese here. It was not the right way. So I tried to return the sign, the drawing in writing that those around me knew. Originally, I was looking for maybe how to make the scriptures more communicative, more easily understandable, a kind of utopia, in short. Gradually, questioning widened. Add to whom, for what, for what purpose, what is there ... What is our relation with our records we, with our trail? What relationship between text and memory?

write is already no longer be there. It is creating a double that will be able to tell for us when we're away. Write is split to better tell. It somehow take the time to organize themselves to say something without even being there.

write, anyway, is taking time. Take time to think about who will read it. And read it hang time to understand the man who wrote.
