leave Montreal at 10: 00, Eastern Time. I have long hesitated between Highway 20 and Highway 40, since the roadworks. I finally opted for Highway 20 that leads directly to the south shore by Bridge-Tunnel Louis -Hippolyte-La Fontaine (located in eastern Montreal) .
The trip went smoothly under the auspices of an ideal temperature in an air conditioned car.
We stopped for soup and a donut for lunch at Drummondville.
Once again the height of Charny we committed on Highway 73 toward the Beauce. We leave Highway 20 to three lanes, also known as Jean-Lesage, to commit ourselves on a highway with two Way, Highway 73, also known as Robert-Cliche.
This journey south takes us to the heart of the industrial and commercial life of the Beauce and force us to see that the people of Beauce are ingenious and hardworking. If each city or municipality has its church, she also has thriving businesses and industries.
We cross the main cities and municipalities in the Beauce Ste-Marie, Valley Junction, St. Joseph, Beauceville to reach our place of accommodation, Le Georgesville, Convention Center and Spa in St. George. Notwithstanding the work of construction of a new terrace on the porch of the main entrance we have not experienced insurmountable drawbacks during our stay, thanks to the attention and professionalism of officers and employees of the hotel.
