Inventory gleaned graffiti in neighborhoods Noisiel, transcribed, accrued, projected in the heart of La Ferme du Buisson in the Festival Temps d'Images 2007.

Graffiti is a Latin word derived from Greek graphein: write.
Graffiti project is a written record, remanipulée; the written record, rewritten, recreating a new set, a new rhythm.
The trace that fades, the track covered, buried, rediscovery, finding a way distorted by time.
Graffiti, silent scream, left by a shadow, a sign of hidden presence.
On the wall, projected silhouettes and traces mingle, overlap, giving life to this area, in constant evolution. Returning the gesture dictated by the graffiti, the silhouettes create a true choreography of writing.
Shade is a boundary between what is hidden and what is visible. Here a transition space between the heart of La Ferme du Buisson and its surrounding neighborhoods.

What was originally planned as an in situ installation in which the audience could mingle its shadow projection has become a mere projection.

(model photo installation)

Scheduled to be projected into a billboard on the streets of Noisiel, this video was finally projected within the walls of La Ferme du Buisson, on the facade of a building.

Near the projection source, at a place of passage, was available maps of the district offering a journey to see the graffiti used for video, or what was left. One can also find the locations and the original photos on the googlemap created for this project at this address: www.graffiti.eur.st (this address is no longer valid, new address:) http://graffiti . echoz.com /
